SitePublisher and LiveSite

Hi all,

I'm new to LiveSite. I want to know the key differentiating point between SitePublisher and LiveSite. What I’ve figured out is that SitePublisher is the development environment and LiveSite represents runtime environment. Please add more light to this.

LiveSite SitePublisher - TeamSite toolkit which includes the LiveSite Page Editor, Site Map Manager, Taxonomy Manager and associated assets.

• The LiveSite Page Editor provides an ideal interface for rapid development of web sites. It is highly integrated into TeamSite ContentCenter (Standard and Professional) enabling business users to create sites and pages which are saved directly to their TeamSite workarea. Commonly used page layouts may be saved as templates to further increase efficiency. As of version 3.0, SitePublisher is tightly integrated with TeamSite''s Flex Roles system. Almost all SitePublisher functions have been mapped to a custom permission and may be restricted on a per-role basis. SitePublisher also includes out-of-the-box workflows, integrated with OpenDeploy and DataDeploy, which deliver the sites, pages, and associated static assets ( images, css, js ) to a target environment.
  
  

• LiveSite Runtime - a Java Web Application which is deployed on each target application server. LiveSite ships with Apache Tomcat which is an open-source Java Application server. The LiveSite Runtime installer will automatically configure LiveSite Runtime for use with Apache Tomcat.
