HI,

ENV: OD 6.2.0 & MySQL

DATA DEPLOYMENT fails only on updating the record. It works fine on inserting new record. I am getting this error message on the DD log file.

DBD: BuildTuples:BuildRows returned: true
DBD: ERROR:Unable to build the query for group ARTICLES
DBD: ERROR:Error occured while trying to delete before update
DBD: -- Failed
DBD: ERROR:WriteTuple failure to consumer[0]

How to solve this issue?

Also Is it possible to log the complete SQL query that the DD is using to insert/delete/update?

Please guide.

Hi John,

Check whether database user you are using has the delete rights on the DB?

Yes, the DB user has DELETE right to the DB. He has all the rights over the database.

The deployment works on update when I remove the ARTICLES group from DD script! Works well when I have only the NEWS group on the DD script and it inserts well and updates well.

Issue starts only when I add the ARTICLES group on the DD schema.

Initially i preview the code and then submit but HTML part missed,then i directly posted without preview and it works! Smiley Happy

I got it worked! I didn't removed any foreign key or primary key!

The issue was due to case sensitive column names in the MySQL. I changed the column name in the DD Schema file to lower case and that fixed the issue!
