Filename / extension getting changed

Hi there,

I am trying to deploy the .properties file on the specified location, but the extension of the file is modified to .properties.iwnew incase it is deploying the file for the first time.

In case, it encounters a properties file already on the location it modifies the existing file to .properties.iwold and create a new file with extension as .properties.iwnew.

Not able to understand as what could be the problem, as it was very much working in DEV env but not on QA env.

Any suggestion or help would be highly appreciated.

on transactional deployment, like that it will create to rollback if deployment fails. After deployment gets success it will rename to original file name.

It means... i have a bigger problem.

1. My transaction deployment is getting failed and
2. Even rollback is not happening.

This can happen if there are a number of conflicting issues that prevent the rollback from completing. You need to examine the log files (both sender and receiver side) much more carefully to try to determine the source of the problem. Verify that there is sufficient disk space, verify that the process owner of the deployment process has sufficient privileges (i.e.: is this running as root or as non-root?), verify that you aren't doing multiple transactional deployments to the same target directory root concurrently, etc.
