Arguments getting filtered at loginpage

http://server/iw-cc/command/iw.ccpro.launch.edit.form?vpath=/default/main../mydcr&item=xyz

im using the above path as href to an item in html page.
When user clicks on that item,relevent dcr(i mean mydcr in above link) is opening in new window.
but my problem is, arguments are not getting passed.(for ex:item in above link).

any help pls

TS Commands are mapped to certain JSP/Servlets. As such, they recognize a predefined set of Parameters, the rest is simply ignored.
It does not look like what you are doing is documented/supported, you are on your own. Where did you see this 'item" parameter?
If you just added it yourself - forget it. Servlet has no way of knowing that it's even there, much less what to do with it
