Getting error while initiating workflow

Hi,

I am getting strange error while initiating workflow ( while doing "Start Job")

as "Invalid workflow :Could not open /teamsite/iw-home/tmp/cci/jobspec3178"

I checked all access permission which seems to be correct.

But unable to find cause .Could anybody help us to solve this .

Does the directory /teamsite/iw-home/tmp/cci exist?
I've seen cases where someone with "good intentions" removed everything from within iw-home/tmp - including the cci directory - and this causes issues for the workflow processing - it needs to be there, and I believe needs to be world-writable (chmod 777)

We are using TeamSite 6.5 sp2 .
/teamsite/iw-home/tmp/cci is there and has permission as 777.

Check the permissions on all the directories leading there:
- /teamsite
- /teamsite/iw-home
- /teamsite/iw-home/tmp

Make sure that iwui and/or iwts (either as user or as members of group or as members of "everyone") have rx (read-execute) permissions to all those directories.

You waited 4 months before asking for more help?
I suggest you contact Support and see if they can run through it with you to debug it - either that or hire me to come over there and debug it for you. There's a limit to what I'm able and/or willing to do remotely and/or for free.

The solution is to re-create the directory cci directory under /tmp.
You should also create an empty file called cci-OK- under /tmp/cci.

In Windows, the group Everyone should have full control to this directory and
the file. In Unix, the directory should have a mode of 1777 and the file 0666.

Another reason for this error might be because you do not have <%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%> in the system environment. Add this as the first argument in the PATH variable.
