Non os user file permissions

In Ts 6.7.1 SP1 while using Non Os users,
when I create a new file in TS workarea the group permissions are not set and they are left blank,

In case of OS users the group is automatically set to the users primary group.

Is there any way to set the group automatically once a file is created in TS.
Please advise.

Not sure about file creation, but you can surely automatically assign group etc to file on submission through "submit.cfg"

Yes, set all directories to chmod g+s. This will ensure workarea permissions are inherited. There is a support note open on this issues and feature request to resolve.
