Could not find matching OpenDeploy client for (WCM-CPC-DEV)

Hi,

This was all working before, and it ain't anymore, I just want to know if there anything else I can do?
Environment:
Microsoft 2003 (WCM-CPC-DEV)
TS 6.7.1
OD 6.02

Unix Sun(Receiver only)
OD 6.2 with the receiver only.
Default port recommanded by Interwoven was used.

Here the error I'm getting:LIB 00006: 2008-11-13 12:26:07 ERROR: Could not find matching OpenDeploy client for (WCM-CPC-DEV).
This error is on the log files of UNIX.

Here What I've tried:
1. Tried traceroute FROM the unix server to WCM-CPC-DEV and it doesn't resovled it?
1.1 traceroute with the DNS and IP.
Should this be sufficent testing to narrowing it down to the network?

I did more testing:
2.Try ping FROM the unix server to WCM-CPC-DEV(IP and DNS) with success.(able to see it)
3.Try nslookup FROM the unix server to WCM-CPC-DEV(IP and DNS) with success.
4. Tried telnet to main port 20014-9173-24071 to WCM-CPC-DEV with success.
5. Tried telnet to main port 3434-24078 to WCM-CPC-DEV with No Success.

As far as I can see this is a network problem, I'm just wondering if their more test that I can do?

Your guidance would be appreciated.

Check your base and receiver config files (odbase.xml and odrcvr.xml). Looks like you are missing something in them. Try using IP address instead of DNS name in the config files.

Can you also check your odnodes.xml hostname is in sync with the hostname used in the deployment config. file with correct port numbers?

I had the same problem. Changing the receiver odbase.xml file to use the IP address fixed it for me. Thanks!
