Hi ,

i am getting a strange error, could not able to figure it out what exactly is the error...

Restart your receiver OD and try again, this error may be fixed after restart.

i have restarted the OD..but still i have the same issue..

if i run the OD with the root , then deployment works..but with the different bootstrap user, i am getting the above error...i suspect it is some permission problem...but could not able to figure it out exactly

Can you post the receiver side log for the failed deployment? At least any error messages with about 5 lines of context before and after...

above logs are receiver logs...
no error in the the source log

Ananda - Try to execute the Perl script with the non-root user in debug mode and check whether the deployment completes.

Please take a look at this reply from Ghoti, it mentions the same issue and this one is a bit old but has a similar issue. In my case, it was the problem on AIX box which has receiver installed which wasn't rebooted for few months, so, just to give a try, I restarted the OD on that and it fixed the problem.

Perhaps OD wasn't installed correctly (as root) or you're running on a server that was configured with iwodnonroot?

This is because of inadequate permissions for deployed files. At a minimum, read permissions are needed on these files to avoid these errors.

If you're running with iwodnonroot - then the user OD is configured to run as must have permissions on both the sending and receiving sides - and - you need to explicitly set the permissionRules for owner and group as per the documentation (i.e.: RTFM)
