perldoc is in the path "/interwoven/TeamSite/iw-perl/bin" on solaris. I go to tgis path and run perldoc command, I get the output as
"ksh: perldoc: not found"
why is that ? I want to run perldoc "File::Find" to find functions available in tghis package and I get the same putput. How can I details of thios package ?

what happens if you try typing in /interwoven/TeamSite/iw-perl/bin/perldoc?

my guess is you're environment variables aren't set properly.

Unix does not always include your current folder (.) in the path, Many people add that but it can be a security risk.

You would be best to add /interwoven/TeamSite/iw-per/bin toyour path (and the current directory which is . (a single period)). Talk to someone who knows Unix and they can show you how to change it in about 10 seconds.
