Counter attribute value length

I'm developing a test which tracks the flow of the user as they come to a series of pages. I've put this in the identity attribute of a counter. Example data would look like this:
"home_product_cart_interstitial_thankyou".

Sometimes, this can get long depending on if the user goes back and forth between pages. I've noticed that it is cut off at 70 characters. Is there an option in the tool that can increase this character limit? If not, I will attempt to abbreviate.

No, there is no such an option. "The counter identity attribute can capture any string value up to 70 characters in length."
