1 liner DCRs

This should be simple to understand, however, I am not able to get the cause of it.

DCRs created within our environment (Windows Server 2003, TeamSite 6.7.1) are created as 1 line files.

Everything works fine, TeamSite handles them as expected (edit/preview/etc.).

However, it is pretty hard to do any troubleshooting level on the XML level (1 long line) because of its structure.

Has anybody had similar experience?

That is the OOTB functionality. If you want them to be pretty, you need to tell your server to make them pretty. Add this to iw.cfg:

[teamsite_templating]
pretty_print_dcrs=true
