Branch permissions
Sudheer
Hi:
When creating new branches, a group called "everyone" is being created. The default/main has everyone group, so when we check "allow inheritable permissions", that goes on to the lower level.
Is there a way to avoid this everyone group to be formed, when creating new branches. Because of this group every user can see other's workarea's and branches, even if he is not in the share group for the Branch of Workarea.
Any solution?
Thanks

Please read the section in the TeamSite Administrator's Guide regarding "webserver_group" - or check the knowledge base articles on this site for the same string.
I believe you would have to go to the branch level (e.g. /default/main) and fix the access rights there through the normal Windows mechanisms and then propagate that fix throughout the rest of the branches, once you've taken care of the webserver_group in your iw.cfg file.
