Error installing TS 6.7.2 on 64-bit Vista

When attempting to install TS 6.7.2 on Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (64-bit OS in my case), I'm running into this inexorable error:

Rejected product "TeamSite" - Windows NT (unknown) 6.0 is not supported.

NT 6.0 is Vista, right? The TS 6.7.2 Release Notes says that the following are supported:

Windows 32-bit OS on x86 and x86-64 platforms

Can I get my 64-bit OS to emulate a 32-bit OS? Or ...?

I believe Vista is supported as *client* platform (you can be on Vista and use the built-in browser to visit the web UI on TS server).
It's not supported as server platform (to host TeamSite Server)

Vista is a client nto a server. You need Win2000 or Win2003

Ah, silly me. Thanks for disabusing me of my optimist. Anyway, the fine manual indicates the following under Server Platforms:

Windows 2003 SP1 and SP2 Enterprise and Standard Editions, Windows 2003 R2,
Windows 32-bit OS on x86 and x86-64 platforms
Web servers: IIS 6.0 for Windows 2003, Apache 2.0.58, iPlanet 6.1, IBM HTTP

That doesn't make it explicit that Windows 2000 Server is still supported. Is it?

Yea I guess it is not supported. I had 6.7.1 SP1 on it. Recently upgraded to Win2003 as well as 6.7.2 (though I cannot remember which I did first)

It is very possible that 2000 will still work, but since it is 2009, I suggest the more recent 2003 is a better choice.

So this begs the question, will the latest version of TS support the latest server from MS? Is it Windows 2007 Server? Or was it Windows 2008 Server?

Win 2000 is supported. I asked Support a bit ago. W2000 is on the "Compatibility matrix" found in Support Site (at least before AU took over), but missing from the PDF docs

Win 2003 *standard* edition is supported. I asked Support a bit ago. W2003 *Standard* is mentioned in the PDF docs, but missing from the "Compatibility Matrix".
(EDIT: Win 2003 *Enterprise* edition is mentioned as supported in both these places)

I don't know about Win2008
