review task into infinite loop

Hi all,

use case:-

I have review task to approve contents(group is added).

If a locked file is submiited through a workflow,at the review task stage
once a user accepts ownership of that review task and approves it ,again workflow is transitioned back to the same review task creating a loop with out transitioning forward to other tasks.

Can any one help me out in this........

Are you sure that your task is transitioning back to review task? For more clarification can you post the flow of your workflow?

What task follows the review task? Does that task have the

lock="t"

attribute set? If so - then chances are it's the next task (the one after the review task) which is hanging trying to get the lock on the file. If that's the case - search the forums and you should find several threads that deal with this issue and propose a number of possible resolutions.
