DCR Naming Convention

Hi,

When we save DCR the default name will come like iwDCR0_123456 etc.
Without using Save As or Raname features can we give any settings to change the name automatically.

Go through the FormAPI guide for FormsPublisher. Read about 'Auto-DCR Functionality'.

What you're after is IWNameFactory (apparently).

Never used it myself, but it looks like you should be able to save the DCR based on DCR values (or the date and time, but if you were going to do that, you might as well just use the OOTB autonaming).
