Production Issue with Y Drive - Some but not all files

I am having an issue with opening and overwriting an include file on the Y Drive. The file is a header file not controlled by TeamSite. I noticed the issue when I tried opening a page in TeamSite and it failed pulling the Server Side Include. I rebooted the server and it fixed the issue for the meantime, but I am not sure what the root cause of the problem is.

How often do you reboot your TeamSite servers?

Here is what I have done so far.
Try to open the file on our test server (non teamsite). No problem opening the file.
Try opening other files in the same directory in TeamSite. No problem.
Try copying good version from development to TeamSite - Error "The Parameter is incorrect"
Looked in some of the log files. Below is what I found.
Reboot the system - Fixes issue.

I did notice some errors in the iwtrace.log file from the other day, not sure if this is related.

Are you running some other software ? I know Virus software can hose up the backing store, is NAV running on that disk by chance ?

E:\iw-store must be excluded, I would exclude y: as well

Shut Semantec off & TS & run iwfsck again. Not certain about the error, if it is still hosed call support, send in the output of iwfsck

You *can* stop the TS server process. iwfsck complains about it running, though if there is no activity, then the results should still be valid.

When you do you can just restart it or bounce the server (which is a higher reliability option). You would also usually need to restart iwindex and iwsearch as well (plus anything else down).

BTW, DO NOT RUN iwfsfix.exe unless told to by support.

I stopped TS and ran the command, which seemed to get rid of the in use by another process when I executed the command.

Thanks for the heads up on the fix command. I know I would be headed there next. I am going to open a support ticket with IW and see if they can help me through this. If I find out any info I will post here to share with everyone.
