Do you have tried with Informix JDBC driver?

Go to google and search for Informix JDBC driver and download it. Then try to connect it with Java.

Thank you very much for your quick response.
Please let me know what are the drivers that needs to install to connect Informix with perl.

Earlier you were talking about Informix with Java, and now Informix with Perl.

Exactly what you want to do? What is TS version and environment you are using? Would share a brief idea.

Hi,

I am trying to connect with both the ways. Intially I have tried with DBD::Informix however not able to find the driver in my teamsite then I thought of checking with Java. Env - teamsite 6.5.

Thanks,
Mahesh

TS does not necessarily ship with ALL DB drivers. You'll have to find appropriate driver(s) for your brand / version of DB. If you are using Java then the easiest way to do this would be go get the JDBC drivers from your DB and load them up into TS and use that driver in your Java class.

If you don't use JDBC then you may be able to go some other not-so-fun routes like ODBC bridge or something -- not sure if that'll work or not.

You could also use Perl and you'll still have to get the necessary driver(s).
