OD issue in TS6.7.1 box

Hi there,
I am trying to deploy a file and I am getting the the below error. This deployment is working from TS6.5 box. Could you please shed light on this.

I had a check on the group before creating this thread. It is avialable as TS group.

Since we have moved all OS groups from TS6.5 to TS6.7.1 as Teamsite group, will this creating an issue in OD?
Please shed light on this.

Okay - so you're doing a loop-back deployment on a TeamSite server (I thought you were deploying from a 6.5 to a 6.7.1 server) - and the teamsite.version setting in deploy.cfg is set correctly. You are deploying files from the local disk into a TeamSite workarea.

Q: Is OD running as 'root' or 'non-root'?
Q: Does the TeamSite Group "tsolscm" have access to the branch / workarea / directory to which you are deploying?

Assuming that it is running as 'root' - theoretically it should be able to handle TeamSite Groups -- however, there is nothing in the manuals to indicate whether this is so. So this might be a feature request to be filed with Support.

In the meantime - if all the files in the branch / workarea / directory are to be group-owned by "tsolscm" - you might be able to work-around the issue by removing that setting from the deployment configuration file and managing it with the submit.cfg - which I'm pretty sure does understand about TS Groups. So the files would get deployed with one group ownership, but once submitted they would get reassigned the desired TS Group ownership.

What you have in your OD deployment is to run it as user=tsadmin group=tsolscm, which is a machine ID. There is no automagical way that this will map to the new TS groups of 6.7.1. You either have to change the OD config to remove user=tsadmin group=tsolscm or create the group on the new box.
