tpl compilation error

When I generate a DCR, I get error message
"An error occurred during PT compiling. Please see more details in log files."
I executed "./iwpt_compile.ipl /path_to_tpl/preview.tpl -iw_include-location" on the command line from the iw-home/bin directory and I got following output

When I check tpl file for these errors, I dont find anything at the line numbers specified. Where can I find these errors ?

These two lines seem to be complaining about something in the Perl module(s) being used by your TPL.

Could it be that you are not supplying your tpl with a dcr to generate from? I could be completely misreading your errors, but if you don't have a dcr to generate from, wouldn't that $cat variable be an uninitialized value?

Are you looking in line 139 of the module tpl_utils.pm or the -ocode generated perl script? You should be looking in the former if the error message explicitly tells you that's where the issue is. If the error message doesn't list an explicit file, then you should look in the latter.
