Can we increase attr_length of custom type?

We currently have size Char(30) to one of our custom types and wondering if there's a way to increase its size or attr_length.

Assuming you are not using xcp, you can go into Documentum Administrator and increase the length of string attribute for your type. Make sure you run data dictionary job afterwards, so that your data dictionary is sync'd with longer string length.

Hmmm okay. I was able to modify it in DA and ran the Data Dictionary job, but I don't think it sync'd because I checked in dqman and its still the initial length.

dqman might be caching. I'm not familiar with how dqman clears it caches, but try restarting your computer.
