Return javascript variable from cgi to formAPI

Hi friends,

I have used this code to pass value from cgi to formAPI javascript function

var api =window.opener.getScriptFrame();
api.putValue(temp,detail_id);

Its working perfectly in dev and QA but not in UAT.

All the js,dct and cgi used in the above box is same.

could you please suggest me any specific reason and alternate solution.

Here is a JSP version of it:
-- parent.getScriptFrame().populateOnLoad("<%=someValue%>");

CGI/Perl may look like this:
-- parent.getScriptFrame().populateOnLoad("$someValue");

This assumes that in your JS (where FormAPI called the CGI via callserver) has a JS function called populateOnLoad(paramSomeValue);
