just to check, was teamsite stopped or frozen when you were making a copy of iw-store?could you post last 20 lines from iwtrace.log?
Event manager should not cause anything.Do you have anti-virus SW running ? I doubt that is it, but it is known to cause trouble.Check windows event viewer. If TS server process is dying, that is bad.How did you move the backingstore ? You may want to make a new one and see if you can activate it. Andy
Thanks for your response.Yes TeamSite was frozen when the backup was taken.
If it was frozen, the copy of the store would also contain the information about it being frozen - you're actually best off stopping TS before making the copy of the backing store to transfer to the new server. Also - are you copying the entire store directory, or just the default sub-directory? And did you ensure that TS was stopped on the new server before copying the store onto it?
Will frozen copy not work? We have tried this before on the same server which worked although not on the different server. Problem here is TeamSite is used 24x7 across the globe, and with size of 150GB+, it would not be possible for us to get a new copy with TS stopped. Although for production we plan to have a fresh copy with TS stopped.Yes we have copied entire iw-store. Yes TS was stopped before copying.
