OD UI issue

sagarshah

OD : 6.0.2

When trying to login OD UI, sometime getting the following error :
Exception:
Javax.servlet.ServletException: servlet execution threw an exception

Root cause:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

In the log file (odadmin/log/localhost_log.2009-08-11.txt) of each day when OD UI is down, it's showing the following error

2009-08-11 14:09:21 StandardWrapperValve[login]: Servlet.service() for servlet login threw exception
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

Once I restart OD related services the issue will be resolved. Please help me to reolve this issue permanentaly.

Thanks,
Sagar

Search for /processod and change value of JAVA_OPTS.

JAVA_OPTS="-Xss2m -Xms32m -Xmx256m"

Modify the settings as follows:

JAVA_OPTS="-Xss2m -Xms128m -Xmx512m"

restart the OD services.
