Reading one DCR values in another PT

Hi,
I have a requirement to read one DCR in another template. Let say
We have a child template and Parent Template. In the Child template we create only DCR. The Parent DCR will select the child DCR.
My question here is what is the best practice to read the child DCR item values in the Parent PT.

You should work on phrasing your question more clearly. You talk about "child DCRs" and then "parent PTs" - that's more like aunts/uncles and nieces/nephews - however I think the answer is quite simple - PTs can load additional DCRs from which to extract content - read the manuals, read the perldocs (e.g.: TeamSite:T::iw_perl, TeamSite:T::iw_load_dcr, TeamSite::XMLparser, etc.), and search the forums.
