Configuring MetaUI

Hello,

I am using Teamsite 6.7.2 and Livesite 3.1 on windows environment. I am facing problem while using the TagUI Examples for FaqEntry datatype. .

What I have done so far is:-

a) Created a DCT mapped to content type.
b) Configured the datacapture.cfg for rulset
3) Configured the Metadata-rules.cfg.

After this I create a new entry and saved it.
Now when select data folder and select the File->tag for this file. Its shows "No files found".

If I select the dcr/xml file under data and select file->tag. it goes busy and nothing shows anything.

and one more thing in a manual a below mentioned step is written :-

"Create a new Content Type, FAQs, in the SitePublisher Taxonomy Manager if one does not already exist and deploy it to the appropriate environments (at least to the development server)."

What is mean by SitePublisher Taxonomy Manager??.

Could you please help me to rectify the problem.

Have you reset the TS server after the changes?

"Create a new Content Type, FAQs, in the SitePublisher Taxonomy Manager if one does not already exist and deploy it to the appropriate environments (at least to the development server)."

Go to Site Map tab create a new node of FAQs and select the created node and click on Actions -> Manage Taxonomies -> Conten Type -> New Node (FAQs).
Then Action -> Submit (using submit workflow or relevance).

I am also facing the same issue. Despite of done with att sepd steps TagUI is not displayed. Anything else need to be configured or is something missed what configured??

Have set the Metadata rule properties in datacapture.cfg at \\iw-home\local\config
and entry of Faq Entry Rule in Metadata-rule.cfg.
Before this have you make entry of data type in templating.cfg?

Hi Aaki,
There is a problem with a table iw_asset in development database. You have to run the sql script (livesite_schema_ddl.sql from livesite_customer_src) again. And also run FaqEentry_schema_ddl.

One more change in metadata-rule.cfg:
Put the "Faq Entry Rule" above "Default Rule" because it's vpath-regex="." in the file, So, all the conditions are true for this regular expression and metadata capture first pass through this rule.

Hi Aaki,
You need to run command "build.bat sql.generate.create.only" from the below path:
IW_HOME\local\config\lib\content_center\livesite_customer_src\
This will create "livesite_schema_ddl.sql" in db folder.
Now you have to run this sql script in the database which you are using. That is mention in "livesite-database.xml".

You have to run this sql script in both database production and development.
if still the same problem comes then drop iw-asset table and create again.

The TagUI window just showing the three fields to enter the meta content, although in ruleset there are many more rules element defined like expiry date etc..and that is not displayed on the TagUI. Could you please put a light on this?

Welcome Aaki,

If you talking about "Default Rule" then you will see two tab in TagUI. That is "Description" and another is "Details", if you click on "Details" then you got creation date, expiry date etc.

If you look in datacapture.cfg file, where is different type of ruleset defined. Each ruleset comes under "view-container" tag and each tab comes under "view" tag.

You may find sql script for FaqEntry in "LiveSite Developer’s Guide" topic "Creating Database Objects".
There is instruction given, how to do it.

No there is all ready given sql script in pdf. I think the sql command do not generate sql for FaqEntry. You may try if it.......
