Error in OD/DD File - Inserting but not updating

When I create a DCR and run Deployment script(It has DD in it) for the first time, it is successfuly inserting a new record. The problem occurs when I modify the DCR and try to update the database using data deploy.

I have one date field which is deployed to the table.

The peculiar thing is that the same script is inserting a new record successfully but is not updating the record.

PFA the code snippet which I am using for the date field in my DD config file.
PFA the logs which says :
"DBD: ERRORimpleDateFormat.parse() could not parse the string '12/AUG/09' with format: dd/MM/yyyy
DBD: ERROR:data-format attribute for the column must conform to the format documented in SimpleDateFormat class"

Can any body please help me out.

I think it's pretty clear that "AUG" does not conform to "MM" (0-padded, two-digit number, e.g.: 08) - you might be able to use "MMM" (three M's) though it is a bit unclear from the documentation whether that will match "AUG" or "August"
