I have read in Post that :
1."Deployment Agent can be triggered to execute a schedule on demand by an external process". Can someone please let me know on How can Deployment Agent be triggered by an external process? Also
2.How can we add custom metadata to the assets through a custom task?

Please let me know if anyone has worked on something related to this.Thanx in advance.

If you want to achieve this using MB Tasks , it’s pretty straight forward
