i am getting error when I trying to present some xml data on the browser.the data in the xml has been saved from the visual formater.can anyone help.

What are the errors you are getting?
Elaborate the complete scenario with complete information like TS, VFE versions and OS.
Do you customize the VFE configuration file?

please find the screenshots for better understanding.in the screen shot which has a browser snapshot you can find the text inside the oval has a start paragraph tags and ending paragraph tags.The text when gets strored in xml file.when i open the xml file it saves the text i enetered in the visual formater converting the greater than and lesser than tags to <: and >. hence i am not getting a correct output whatever i enter in the visual format area.

Again its weird with screen shots, as per your screen shots you do not want

tag while insert text. This tag comes with published data. Right!!
There is a visualformatconfig.xml save as this file with different name and make following change in it:
[HTML]
[/HTML]

There is also a VFE docs available with support site. You can have a look into it. Please make your requirement clear and concise.

i tried changing the visualformatconfig.xml file as per your suggestion.but it did not work. my issue is when i save anything in the visualformat section of the DCR it gives me error when the data is displayed on browser.

for example:
when i enter a text test and then press enter and again enter the text test and save the dcr. the value in the xml stores the data as < and > for the

tag and then when we render the same on browser it converts it < and > tags.so the display on browser comes up as its shown in the snap shot.

Hi Sabya,

I do not able to understand what you have exact requirement. Because your posting always do not able to give complete picture.

So, if you go through the VFE Docs that will help you lots. If not then try to elaborate in that way that will give complete picture and attach code. Before attaching code follow the rules vB Code.

I entered 2 text in the visual formater with a enter key pressed before entering the second.then i saved the dcr.then i saved this page in which this component is present.when i preview the page the text which i had entered in the visual format diplays incorrectly. it should display similarly as i had entered that is first text then a line break and then the second text. but it displays me as the starting paragraph tag then the first text and the closig paragraph text.then the same for the second text adjacent to the first one.i hope i have made clear.

Yeah!!.... It should happen earlier.
It is not a problem with VFE, it seems problem with component where you are fetching the content of DCR, while preview the page paragraph tag do not working properly.
So try to dig into component. That will solve the issue. If not then attach that component and dcr file.
