How to hide other templates in same workarea

Hi All,

I have created two template (test1 and test2) under same workarea and the folder stucture also different for those two templates under pages folder (eg. /pages/test1, /pages/test2). Now I am under /pages/test1 folder and i am trying to click on 'New Form Entry' then it should have to show only 'test1' template and it should hide the 'test2' template.

If any one have any idea please let me know.

If you go to the /pages/test1 folder (where the datacapture.cfg lives) and do File > New Form Entry - it will automatically use pages/test1 for the DCT, likewise if you navigate to the pages/test2 folder before doing New Form Entry - it will automatically use pages/test2.

If you only navigate as far as pages - then both test1 and test2 are possible and it makes sense that it offers you both as choices - at least with prune-missing-files="t" in the templating.cfg file. If you do not have prune-missing-files set, then you might be able specify that pages/test2 is only available if you are within pages/test2 and that pages/test1 is available anywhere under pages (or templatedata) - and it might behave the way you seem to be wanting (which seems a questionable practice to me, but it's your site)

templatedata
  |
  -> Category
   |
   -> test1
   |   |
   |   -> data
   |   -> presentation
   |    |
   |     -> .tpl
   |
   -> test2
       |
       -> data
       -> presentation
         |
         -> .tpl

And you want to generate files in pages folder above templatedata in corresponding data type folder. And i think you have make entry in templating.cfg as below:

[/HTML]
If you have same configuration then there should be not a problem and it should work.

It is showing correct. Not an issue.
Why you are invoking "New Form Entry" from Pages folder.
You have to invoke it from templatedata->category->test1/test2
