View document in pdfviewer widget from relations widget in documentum

Hi,
in the documentum 7.2 solution, we are looking for the way to Visualise in pdfviewer widget the content of a document that appear in the detailsrelations widget (this document is linked to one or many documents) by select (apply a simple click) this document like in doclist widget.
We have tried to solve this but the only found to view the document is by select « locate » item from the menu that appears by applying a right click on the document from relations widget.

We have done this but with D2 20.2. You need to make sure the proper events are being subscribed to by the PDFViewer widget. I don't have access to the exact settings as I write this.

By « subscribed events » do you mean focus events in the pdfviewer widget configurations? Because in my configuration, i select in focus events the event D2-event-select-object and put in the optionnal parameters widgetType==detailsrelationswidget.

Yes that's right! Make sure you respect the case when you rerefence the widget name or type.

I think that the name of the additionnal event parameters is wrong.

All focus events that i tried are not working for me.
Maybe the solution is not in focus évent.
Does anyone know How to do that please ??

I just checked how we did it. In fact, we are using a DoclistWidget instead of a DetailsRelationsWidget. It's been a while but I think the reason is that the latter displays dm_relation objects, and as such do not have content. So we are using the DoclistWidget and in addition to the focus event, we also configured a subscription event for D2_EVENT_SELECT_OBJECT.

On the PDFViewer side, try to remove the additional events parameters. You can always add them later to narrow it down if needed.
