reused tasks in workflow modeler

we are in the process of converting a 2000 line wft into a work flow modeler. One of the reasons for this bloat is because we reuse a similar block of tasks over and over again. After talking to IWOV support they recommend workflow variables to restart the psuedo loop afte subsequent user tasks. For ex: in your usertask1 , you can set the value of the workflow variable to 1, in usertask 2 set this to 2....(you can set this using Workflow Modeler Read about the Workflow Variables Start Op). But I cannot seem to get it working, any help would be greatly appreciated

I'm not sure about reused tasks in WFM - but if your WFT was written in the old XML-style - you could probably greatly simplify it / reduce the number of lines by re-writing it in Perl (<template_script>....</templatescript>) using the TeamSite::WFconstructor method - several of the IWHOME/local/config/wft/solutions WFTs are written this way and you can use them and the perldoc of the module for learning how to rewrite the WFT.

Admittedly though, it would be interesting to hear about how to do what you want in WFM....
