Does TS 6.7.2 work better on Linux than on Windows? Has anyone been brave enough to migrate TS from Windows to Linux? How did it turn out?

Apparently one cannot migrate the Content Store. All the scripts would need to be tested and some may need to be fixed. Sounds like a can of worms.

Is it worth it?

This is possible but you may have to handle the content store migration manually ( or custom scripting).

This kind on migration have been done earlier and without issues.

There is a lot more to it then what was just outlined in the previous post. It is a platform change so you have to do a complete inventory of customizations that you have and any OOTB feature that you utilize, iwmigrate vs other options (do you even care for versioning/history of your store?), updating all of your scripts, configs, etc. Just need to plan it well.

Before start this activity prepare you checklist about you content, configuration and workflow etc
And also make sure before doing this make an edition for every workarea.
