Permissions question

I am having trouble trying to figure out some permissions stuff on TeamSite, and I would like to ask to see if anyone else can help me figure this out. We are using TeamSite 6.7.2, running on Solaris 10. We have been using TeamSite for years, and using the OS level authentication and groups. Now, we are building a new website inside a new branch, and leveraging LDAP for authentication, while trying to use the roles and groups within TeamSite (just for the new branch). I have no problem setting up the branch structure with the correct permissions and such. Now, when I make changes from within the branch and then use the out of the box submit workflow, it changes the group. For example, on a file within the internet branch, the owner is User1 (defined in LDAP) and the group owner is EditorGroup (TeamSite defined Group). I go ahead and make a change to the file, and then submit it. After the submit workflow is done, the properties of the file still shows the same owner, but the group owner gets defaulted to another group (which is not a TeamSite defined group, but an OS level group).

I am having trouble figuring out why the group owner keeps changing after a submit. Would anyone have any thoughts as to why it is changing?

did you check your submit.cfg? That file is used to change owner/group/permission after submit file to staging area. Search for submit.cfg in TS documents.
