Deploymnet from non-base server as source?

Hi,
This might sound weird but the requirement is to use a non-base server as the source for deployment.

Basically, the OD base is installed on the Teamsite server but the need is to deploy content from one windows web server to another windows qa web server.

is this possible or has anybody used any other means to achieve this?

This can not be done directly. That said, as long as your QA Web Server has "Base visible" OD Receiver
you can configure a Reverse Deploy WS0 => Base and then Directly Base => WS1

Check with FTP adaptor deployment...Check whether you can use that in some way to achive your goal.
