This is related to templating.
I want to get both the text and value attribute associated with a form feild.
I know iwpt_dcr_value fetches the value associated, how can I fetch the text attribute.

What type of field are you looking at ? It sounds like a select/radio/checkbox.

It is not in the XML generated (look to confirm, but it is not by default). You have 2 choices, crack the DCT and read it. The second choice is to read it and save (via FormAPI) into a hidden field in your DCR.

Since this requirement typically comes up when someone has a dynamic list, option #1 is not possible and you will need to do it via FormAPI.

Actually i am getting value of the product using

but i want its label so for that what should be done???

PT parses DCRs and DCRs retain only Values, not Labels.

You can for example get your Label in FormAPI onSave and populate DCRs' hidden Item, etc - Andy's proposal.
Alternatively you may find/parse corresponding DCT from your presentation template but the first
option is IMO much easier to implement
