Task window File link | in email notification

Hi,

We are using iw_solution_email.ipl script to send email notification. In the email task window we are getting "edit, preview etc” links for the each file attached to the workflow.

In the teamsite task window we have File link for each file attached to the workflow. From where user can perform different actions like: tag, detach etc.

Our requirement is to get task window “File" link in the email notifications.

Any help/pointer to achieve this will be appreciated.

You need to create your own custom templates, figure out what those links should be and then design the template accordingly (I thought the OOTB templates did that, but perhaps not quite as fully). Note, however, that interacting with TeamSite through email interfaces is not usually that clean - and you generally end up having to redirect the user (via one of the links) to the actual Task Details page from which they can then perform those operations - so you might want to determine how feasible it is to do what you think you want before spending a lot of time trying to actually do it.
