Transfer folder permissions when upgrading MB?

Hi all,

We're in the process of upgrading MediaBin from a pilot service to a fully fledged enterprise DAM solution. Both our pilot and production (enterprise) systems have MB 4.6.1. When transferring our folder structure and assets from one system to the other is it possible to retain the folders' permissions?

If it’s a back up & restore , the permission will remain.
If you download and restore the top folder ( not recommend )
I guess , you have to set the permissions manually
