Invoke URL External Task

Hi,

In the old days of perl external task development/debugging I was able to run external tasks multiple times from the command line by not transitioning the task.
e.g. ./myscript.ipl 61523 61543
where 61523 and 61543 are my job and task ids

I'm now gradually converting my library of perl external tasks to the Java/WFM world.

So, I have a WFM Url Task calling a java class that I'm not transitioning thus hoping to re-run the Task multiple times to fine tune the class and get debugging info.

I would expect to be able invoke the Url Task along the following lines:-
http://myservername/iw-cc/urlexternaltask?jobid=61523&taskid=61543

or

java -cp paths_to_java_classes com.company.custom.myExternalClass 61523 61542

What is the syntax to rerun WFM Url Tasks when the transition event is not fired?

Easier thing to do might be to simply put a retry task in your WF during the test phase.

many thanks - the obvious things are often under my nose.
I'll give it a go

Thinking it through I do not think this is going to work. The code will need recompiling with a maketookit.

Suppose just have to put up with longer development time.
