How To end an OpenDeploy deployment
SethHickel
I have canceled two deployments in the gui that were hung - they are pending cancelation and are waiting on the task to end so they can cancel. This will never happen.
Is there a way to kill the deployment outright - perhaps from the command line?
Thanks.
Seth

OK - did that now the OD GUI will not come up. The services are up. Any ideas?

linux or windows?
try restarting odAdmin
linux /etc/init.d/iwodadmin start
windows start od admin service
nipper
You may need to restart the receiver OD service. If it is hung (typically on a log file folder too full) then you are SOL
Now that should not prevent the OD server from restarting, what is in the log ?

OK - issue was a change to a NIC card setting. Changed the Speed/Duplex setting from 100MB/Full to 1GB/Full on the network card in the server and on the Network Switch. Boom jobs failing and GUI unavailable after services restart. Undid the NIC card change and we were back up. Very odd.
