Server was unable to process request. MBException: Insufficient system resources

I'm getting the above message when trying to retrieve an 80mb file over the webservice using AXIS, works fine for smaller files (10/15mb). I suppose i could use RetrieveFile_URL and GetDownloadURL_HTTP but seems a bit clunky if there is a setting in IIS to increase the response size.

Any ideas or workarounds that others have tried would be welcomed.
