trying to iterate for values in container.

Hi,
Can anyone help on this.
attached is the datacapture.cfg. I am trying to iterate PAGE_META_ROLES conatainer to get 'USER' value within it.
Tried looping as well as thru templating(iw_iterate)
I am able to get the other outer text values but not this one.
Also find attached tpl (mytpl)

Can anyone help me on this?

Your DCT is a bit confusing - but if I understand what you posted - you have a replicant container "PAGE_META_ROLES" that can contain up to 5 sets of USER_ROLE and USER selections (the latter of which only has one option).

Your PT then has:

my @nodes = iwpt_dcr_value('$rootnode.HELP_PAGE.PAGE_META_ROLES');

(Ignore the extraneous space - that's the forum software doing it's "stuff")
This is wrong because you're looking for a list of nodes not a value - so you should be using

iwpt_dcr_list(...);

You then have:[html]

[/html]Which, might do what you want, though based on your DCT it will spit out "

tempval

" - unless your help_page.js FormAPI code substitutes something else in there -- it would be easier to figure out if we saw a sample DCR that you were trying to process.

Why you stop in the middle to use XML syntax while the rest of the PT is coded in Perl doesn't make much sense to me - though perhaps that's because of the first issue. Assuming you actually got the list of nodes - I think it would be something more like:

foreach my $node (@nodes) {
    iwpt_output("" . $node->value('USER') . "\n");
}

Or something like that (I didn't bother to test any of this).
