At what point do you get the error message? When you are entering the date? When you save the DCR? When you generate something from your TPL?

Please provide an example of the exact string you enter into this field and which you receive an error from when trying to save the DCR -- copy-n-paste it from the Edit DCR window, do not just type it off the top of your head.

I didnt check the point raised by iwkash.

But if thats the case, then will not the DCT give error at the time of parsing ?
I tried to replicate the error bu not removing " from the size and I got error at parsing only.

This error i am getting at the time of saving after entering values in the fields. But there were two fields for the date. They were working fine, till the time I left. And then next day, it started giving error.

Its working fine now, so I can not check if there was this syntax error at the time of error message. But I am trying to know, what can cause such an error so that future occurence can be prevented.

Two thoughts come to mind:

An obscure case of the latter would be a copy/paste where the text being copied contained em-dashes instead of simple dashes / hyphens - it might look like a "legal" date/time string but it wouldn't be.
