Issue with receiver server

On my Od UI screen, I see deployments to one target host are not going through. I am trying to check the status of this receiver server using telnet.
I am getting only one response for the receivers where deployments are going through and for the receivers where deployments are not going through. "Connecting to ipaddress... Could not open connection to the host, on port 23: Connect failed"

How to check on which port xml configuration file is sending the deployment?
I checked xml config file, I could find only server name in the useNode tag. How to check port number ?

I know usually its port 10014 where OD receiver server is. But if I want to check the port number, where can I check ?

I tried "telnet ipaddress 10014" also, but got the same response like the one on port 23 for the target servers where deployments are running or not.

Pls reply ASAP.

You got the listening port wrong. Try testing with 20014. Let us know if you need more help after you connect.

/od-home/etc/odrcvr.xml, Tag "listenerProperties", attribute "bindPort". If it is not set, the default is 20014

Then you are probably looking at the Base configuration. That one should odbase.xml with the same Tag.
I've mentioned "odrcvr.xml" because of the thread Title "Issue with receiver server"

Thanks. I can see bindPort:20014 in listenerProperties.

One more thing is, we have two receiver servers. One server is "fail over" server. I guess this fail over server becomes active when existing server breaks down, is this true ? Today, when routine server was not receiving the contents ( I think there was firewall issue), the deployment shd be received by failover server. Instead of that, deployments were stuck at the receiver servers and in the UI it was just showing as running. Why is it like this ?

Nipper, od-home is in iw-home, if thats what you want to know by "Where is the OD server installed (what folder)"
