using different preview and presentation templates?

Hi,

for my current project I want to generate JSP pages via TeamSite. But there is a usability problem with the preview function: TeamSite displays the new / changed content page on the browser, but even this is a JSP page the content editor sees the (JSP-)code.

Is there a way to automatically use a different presentation template for the preview function? For my project it would be possible to put placeholders to every object which later becomes dynamic, so the content editor may see a dummy page with hers/his new content.

Take a look at [post=135459]this[/post] post, it illustrates one possible approach to do what you want.

That said, an idea to "fake" a preview is questionable at best. Much better one is to create CMS - related
JSP rendition Environment (on the TS box/Instance or outside of it) and redirect preview there, either from
template generated code or using Workflow mechanisms
