Database server upgrade

Hi all

We are planning to migrate our Worksite 8.3 Databases from a 32bit SQL 2000 server to a 64bit SQL 2005 server.

The only notes on this type of upgrade we have found relate to 32 and 64 bit datasources, but we haven't been able to find a recommended upgrade plan.

[color=black]For example, what process should we follow? What services should we shut down? What settings need to be modified on the indexer, app server, Worksite web server? What about SQL logins? Desktop clients? etc. Do we need any custom security schemas?

Our current environment is:

[font=Arial][font=Arial][size=2][color=black][font=Arial]- one server for the documents
- one server for the v8.3 Indexer
- one SQL 2000 server for the databases [color=blue]--- this is what we want to change
- one application server with caching in a remote office
- and one application server that also has worksite web.
