About in-context editing

Hi,

I am using in-context editing property for a component. But i would like to modify the values in the component on the page without clicking on "Edit". Can i change the values, let's say for example, by double clicking on a string field and typing in some values and hitting Enter?

If your component datum is enabled for in-context-edit, you can click on the text while in 'in-context-edit' mode in the page editor and populate the Datums.

To enable in-context-edit, your should enable them for in-context-edit, for example in Appearance XML:

<span in-context-edit="{/Properties/Data/Datum[@Name='Heading']/@ID}"&gt;
  <xsl:value-of select="/Properties/Data/Datum[@Name='Heading']"/>
</span>

Where Heading is a String or Textarea Datum(Only datums allowed for in-context-edit).
