Accessing DataType based on logged user

Hi Guys,

Here is what I want to achieve:

ProdCategory
Admin (DataType)
Public (DataType)

Userlist:
UserA, UserB, UserC

Scenario:
Requirement is such that UserA should have access to both the Datatype (Admin and Public), but UserB and UserC should not access Admin datatype but can access Public DataType.

Both Admin and Public Datatype belongs to same group

Below are the queries
1. How can I assign specific users to the single or both datatypes?
2. What workaroud should be carried in order to identify whether user belongs to Admin or Public datatype?
3. How to prepopulate group name in DCR? If there is any code snippet available would appreciate if it is sharable.

Any direction or suggestion in this context are welcome.

Try using different groups - the Admin group should only have access to the Admin datatype, the Public group should include the Admin group and thus members of both groups would have access to the Public datatype.

Make sure the rights are specified both at the file system level and within the templating.cfg file.
