Hi,

I need to stop eventsubsytem permanently as the openjms.bd file size is increasing in GBs.

Could any one please help me in providing a solution to stop this log file growth.

Note - Im not using any TS search functionality, so stopping it permanently will also do.

Disable the eventsubsystem from iw.cfg file and do restart of iw.server.It should resolve your query.

why don't you change it to run on a database?

Changing iw.cfg will not prevent the event subsystem from starting. It is supposed to but has not worked.

Chris's point about pointing to a real DB is the right one.

If you cannot, it is started in /etc/init.d/iw.server

That being said, this will be overwritten when an upgrade happens.
