what is the error , if I am getting following error message.

"Invalid workflow:
not well-formed at line 78
ERROR:00001:Failure in operation"

pls reply ASAP.

When you entered the comment did you put an & (ampersand) ?

I created new DCR and when I submit this DCR using publish workflow, I get this error.

That was a shot in the dark, often when we see that error, it is due to the fact that someone used a comment like This & that int he workflow instanciation window.

Taking one step back,

Has this workflow ever worked before ? Are there any modification recently ?

Yes this workflow has been working fine.
About modification, I dont think anybody did anything on this wf. It worked fine an hour before this error showed up.
Any idea, how can this happen ?

The error message clearly says that there is some formatting error in the wft at line 78.

Can you post your wft file ? May be we can help more after that. It is only giving a shot in the dark if we answer without looking at wft file.

That's malformed WF Specs, not wft. Matter of fact, we do not even know if specs were generated from wft or wfm.

The whole thread has no useful information whatever. All we've learned in three days is that thread's Author
somehow generates malformed XML. What kind of help is expected on this plethora of data is beyond me.

Some thing wrong with your wft file.
May be syntax error like missing (‘ ,”,< ,> ) like one of the symbol
