CSSDK Hole Problem

I have a utility which creates file in teamsite using createSimpleFile method of CSSDK API through java . I have created a file , but because of some problem delete that file from teamsite. Now when I again run my utility , it is throwing exception that you can not perform any operation on Hole type of file. I can not modify my utility to add any update code, it contains only code to create a new file. How can I delete file and its hole from Teamsite so that it allow me to create a new file with the same name using createSimpleFile method. Any help regarding this ?

At which location this utility creates a file. Is it at iw-home or workarea?
Check the log files for details of exception.

Maybe, just maybe, if you submit the deleted file (through the TS-gui) you might be able to run your util again.

Following are error logs I am getting while running code again
- Error in method tagFile
java.lang.Exception: Error in getting CSClientjava.lang.Exception: DCR [shared/doc/pcn/PCN13527.htm] already exist
at com.mot.sps.dap.utils.CSSDKUtil.createDCR(CSSDKUtil.java:141)

but I have deleted file from teamsite

I have tried to delete the file from UI but the problem stil persists . The file is in workarea

1 - Goto the workarea in the UI (ContentCenter Pro)
2 - Select VIEW - ALL AND DELETED FILES
3 - Find the file
4 - Submit it using Actions - Submit
5 - Try your code again

As RonaldV suggests - submitting a hole removes it. A hole is an instance of a file in a workarea that has been deleted but has a matching file in staging.

I know you said you can't redo your class, but it seems like you'd want to. If you need help, just post the code for the class.
